We reluctantly left the coast and headed inland to Toowoomba to visit Jo's brother, we then returned to the coast in Brisbane. Next we crossed the border into New South Wales, visiting friends in Ballina, Yamba and Sawtell, the weather has been interesting! we have been lucky to avoid the worst of the storms. This portion of the coast features stunning waterways and is lush and green, another stark contrast in this ever changing landscape.
